How much can solar save you?
Enter your monthly bill (or a system size), pick your DISCOM, and optionally share your location — we'll estimate generation from NASA satellite sunlight data at your rooftop, plus cost, subsidy, savings and payback.
RCC needs an elevated structure (₹60k/kW); sheet mounts directly (₹48k/kW).
Sunlight data: NASA satellite irradiance at Gujarat (state average).
Estimates only — final system size and cost depend on your roof, load and a site survey. Install cost per roof type (₹60,000/kW selected); subsidy per PM Surya Ghar residential slabs. Savings use your provider's effective rate (incl. fuel surcharge & duty); surplus exports credited at ~₹2.25/unit. Commercial & industrial systems are quoted separately.
PM Surya Ghar residential systems qualify for collateral-free bank loans up to ₹2,00,000 at ~7% p.a. (up to 10 years); larger amounts are financed at standard solar-loan rates. We assist with the loan paperwork.

Calculator FAQ
How accurate is this estimate?
Generation uses NASA satellite irradiance (20+ year climatology) at your location — share your exact location for the tightest numbers, or we use your state’s average. Costs use current residential install rates. A free site survey produces an exact quote.
How are savings calculated?
Every solar unit you self-consume saves your provider’s full effective rate — energy charge plus fuel surcharge (FPPPA) plus electricity duty, since all of these scale with units. Fixed charges are excluded (solar doesn’t remove them), and surplus units exported beyond your consumption are credited at your DISCOM’s settlement rate, not the retail rate.
Does this include the PM Surya Ghar subsidy?
Yes — residential systems show the applicable central subsidy (up to ₹78,000 for 3 kW and above). Commercial and utility systems are quoted separately without residential subsidy.
What is the payback period?
For most residential rooftops, payback is 3–4 years, after which generation is effectively free for 20+ years.
