How accurate is this estimate?
It uses Gujarat generation assumptions (~120 kWh/kWp/month) and current residential install costs to give a close ballpark. A free site survey produces an exact quote.
Does this include the PM Surya Ghar subsidy?
Yes — residential systems show the applicable central subsidy (up to ₹78,000 for 3 kW and above). Commercial and utility systems are quoted separately without residential subsidy.
What is the payback period?
For most residential rooftops, payback is 3–4 years, after which generation is effectively free for 20+ years.
